I began at MCHD in the summer of 2017. I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a degree in Psychology and I am currently working on a Masters in School Counseling through an online program with North Carolina Central University. During my time as an undergraduate, I was the Vice President of NCCU EMERGE (Engaging Mentors to Empower Respect and Gender Equality) and was a Community Skills Instructor with the Autism Society of North Carolina. Last year after graduating, I worked as a Teacher's Assistant at South Topsail Elementary School. I was excited to return to Durham and am dedicated to the development of children in and outside of the classroom. In my spare time, I enjoy discovering new blogs, trying new restaurants, watching movies, and car rides with my dog, Bailey.
