I began my Montessori career as an Assistant Teacher here at MCHD in 1991. I went on to get my Teaching Certificate, do my internship here, and then taught as a Teacher from 1996 until 2002. I left to pursue my dream of opening my own Montessori school with a farm and environmental education emphasis. During that time, I also taught at the North Carolina Montessori teacher training program for 14 years. I returned to MCHD in 2012 and brought with me a boundless energy, a deep commitment to fostering the love of nature in children, and my talent as a photographer.
