In 2016, I was thrilled to come back to the MCHD community as the Director of Auxiliary Programs. I am not only a parent of two MCHD alums, but I also served as Lisa Tate’s assistant in Early Childhood from 1996 to 2002. I hold a Bachelors degree in foreign languages (English, German, French & Dutch) from the Higher Business and Language Institute, Ghent, Belgium, and a Masters in Education/Special Education from the Higher Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Ghent, Belgium, as well as a Masters in Speech and Hearing from UNC Chapel Hill. Before returning to MCHD, I spent six years serving as the After School Manager and most recently as a Child Assessment & Prevention Team Member in the Durham Public Schools. Prior to my work at DPS, I served six years at Durham Academy as the Director of the After School Program and Activities and Summer Camp, which I designed and implemented. I love running and biking and spending time with my family.
