We come together to share our questions, experiences and knowledge in order to support each other as parents, caregivers, and educators.

Our first conversation is scheduled for October 19th, 10-11:30am and will be about media and its impact. Please register to attend. We are also offering free childcare in the After School building. The Parents' Association cordially invites all MSD families to our All-School Fall Picnic at Little River Regional Park Picnic Shelter (301 Little River Park Way, Rougemont, NC 27572) on Sunday, September 8th from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Gather your family and come visit with friends old and new!

Bring drinks for your family and a dish to share with the MSD community (with serving utensil). Please label your dish with all ingredients so families with allergies can be aware. There are some picnic tables at the park, but you may also bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for seating in the grassy area.  The Parents’ Association will provide plates, utensils & napkins. Little River Park has a playground, large field, and hiking/biking trails so bring bikes and balls if you would like.  Come early and enjoy the park and trail. Please note, if 3:30 conflicts with nap time or other needs, families are welcome to arrive at any point during the picnic that best suits their children’s schedules. All items should be removed from the picnic area by 5:15  for clean-up and break down.
