Diversity & Inclusion Community Conversations

Community Conversations is an initiative of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at MSD. The goal is to create a space for conversations on topics salient to the community. We come together to share our questions, experiences and knowledge in order to support each other as parents, caregivers, and educators.

Our first conversation is scheduled for October 19th, 10-11:30am and will be about media and its impact. Please register to attend. We are also offering free childcare in the After School building. If you are unable to attend this gathering, we hope you can join us for future conversations and for the Spring Diversity and Inclusion Symposium.

If you are a parent or caregiver interested in leading a community conversation, please contact Diversity and Inclusion committee chair, SK Fishback at SarahKateFishback@msdurham.org.
