Director of Programs and Staff Support
Montessori of Durham is currently seeking a full-time administrative position as Director of Programs and Staff Support. The ideal candidate for this position will be an educational and administrative leader with a commitment to and understanding of the Montessori pedagogy, and dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative school community. This leader will possess excellent communication and leadership skills with a largely collaborative management style. As a member of the administrative team, the Director of Programs and Faculty Support will partner with the Head of School to implement and support the daily operations, strategic initiatives, and long-term goals of the school while offering support to the teaching staff and to admissions as needed.

Montessori School of Durham is seeking Substitute Teachers for classrooms and After School programs serving children from 18 months to 12 years old for the 2020-2021 school year. Hours vary depending on Teachers’ needs. Applicants must be punctual, reliable, professional, nurturing, and willing to learn Montessori practices. References and criminal background check required; teaching or childcare experience is required, previous experience in a Montessori setting is preferred, but not required.
